Eurosport's Multiscreen Strategy
For broadcaster Eurosport, the event has become a showcase of its technological capabilities and its international reach. This year it showed every single minute of the tournament on Eurosport Player, its Over the Top (OTT) service, broadcasting more than 600 matches and 250 hours of coverage.
This comprehensive approach saw online and mobile streaming increase by nearly a third (31%), with viewing time increasing by 45% What's more, Eurosport's official website recorded 25% more unique visitors than last year.
